The Rehabilitation Department Sindh aims to ensure timely and effective rehabilitation and resettlement of populations affected by natural and man-made disasters through well-planned policies, coordinated institutional efforts, and efficient resource utilization. The Department strives to provide essential services, including housing, healthcare, education, and livelihood opportunities, to restore normalcy and improve the quality of life of affected communities. It further seeks to strengthen coordination with provincial and federal agencies, development partners, and relevant stakeholders to enhance service delivery. Emphasis is also placed on building institutional capacity for disaster response and recovery, promoting community participation and social inclusion, and establishing robust monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to ensure transparency, accountability, and long-term socio-economic resilience of rehabilitated populations.
